1am = really good conversation time + being late for work the next morning.

points of note from last night's conversation which still has my head in a spin:
-> knowing God vs. loving God - does one sometimes distract from the other or are they mutually inclusive?
-> the innocence of God - did God create evil? is He, in fact, innocent? was that the torture of the cross beyond the shame of it? can man commit evil God has not even thought of? (see Jeremiah 7:31)
-> the journey toward seeing God - the endlessness of it: discouraging or exciting? futile or hopeful?
-> HUGE self-realization: i have to be won over. my first impression of people is rarely a good one. in fact four out of five of my closest friends, i disliked at first impression. i don't like this about myself and am going to work toward changing it.
