just wanted to tell you that i think you're great. a lot of people do...more so every day it seems. and that makes me happy. authenticity is a big deal to me, as it is for many, and i've noticed that a lot of artists default to sadness and doubt. i'm not complaining necessarily. there is a lot of honesty in doubt and in sorrow...no one really questions the authenticity of a doubter. it's the believer everyone is suspicious of. but i've noticed that it is much more challenging to exhibit authenticity in the pleasant...in the uplifting. you seem to enjoy this challenge. and you rise to it so gracefully. i appreciate that about you immensely. and i think, if your songs represent, you are beautiful in the sincerest of ways...without having to use the trickery of the melodramatic. as a songwriter, it inspires me. as a person, it refreshes me. thanks for that.
