sometimes i think it's a good idea to spend some time with my dad. then a conversation like this takes place, and I realize the contrary.
loisa: that is one ugly child [referring to child playing in the middle of the street]. sometimes i pray that my children will not be ugly.
dad: oh, having a hideous child isn't SO bad. you get used to it after a while.
