happy birthday, sir. although i am slightly disturbed by the realization that you are indeed older than my father, i would like to congratulate you on a new decade and thank you for breathing, sleeping, and making music for the majority of these last 60 years. i also want to appreciate and recognize you for many of my favorite songs (only a couple of which include Blue Jean , Young Americans, and of course Let's Dance), your brilliant contribution to the Labyrinth (which remains one of my very favorite movies), and your rather interesting collection of art. you are fantastic, sir, and today i celebrate you.
