i seem to have become quite the traveler this year. yes, yes. and i do quite like it. i have had a trip every month this year so far, and i have two coming up in june, another in july, and it looks like i might have one in august as well. i love this new lifestyle of zipping around the country. i could certainly get used to it...
so today i am in texas. i got here on the 13th and i'm here until the 25th. a good two weeks with my adamses.
highlights of the trip so far?
- four children, the oldest of whom knows my tickle-spot, who tackle me and tickle me until i am either screaming or gasping for air. if you have never experienced a four-child tickle-attack, you are missing out on some serious soul-medicine. i think i gain four extra years on my life for every one of these episodes.
- good, solid, heart-diving talks with a man who knows me better than most (and whose love i am sure of) telling me i am able and capable (no, they don't mean the same thing) and talented and anointed and a lot of things that i don't feel like i deserve to hear.
- snuggling and loving on and being loved on by and exploring new ideas about the character of God with one of the most beautiful, precious, graceful women i know, who also knows me better than most (and whose love i am also sure of).
mmmmm.... they make me like texas.
