hey loisa...what's so great about arkansas?

1) melissa jo rodgers (on the left) who still clings and cuddles like i never left for one day -- who still smiles like she did when she was four -- who still loves nothing more than to serve and help.
2) amanda irene rodgers (on the right) who still is frighteningly clever for her age -- who still loves to entertain and crack me up -- who still comes up with the most ingenious ideas an eleven-year-old ever thought of.

3) heather lynn price rodgers (on the right) who still makes the best zucchini soup in the universe (can i get an amen, annie?) -- who still laughs at the dumb and ridiculous things that i do -- who still lets me talk until the wee hours of the morning like time and distance have never been between us at all.
4) michael sean rodgers (on the left) -- who is still the inspiration of my love for the lumberjack -- who still fake-falls better than his teacher -- who still makes me feel so loved and safe and secure.
5) dogs! dogs! dogs! dogs! dogs!
6) the pace of life. i could get used to it.
7) the weather (i can't wait for a thunderstorm...Lord, please send a thunderstorm immediately)
8) the green green green green grass and trees everywhere.
9) the big yards...acres even.
10) the deep sleep.
11) the lack of responsibility/guilt/schedule.

My mother was born in Arkansas!
Call me when you get back. I have some Crown Royal that needs drinking.
